We are Billy Goat Entertainment Ltd (hereon referred to as “The Goat”), a video game developer based in (sunny) Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Founded in the year 2010 The Goat began life as a 3D animation studio, producing a variety of animated TV adverts broadcast in Ireland. In November 2010, with support from friends at Northern Ireland Screen, The Goat focused its attention on video game development.

In June 2011 The Goat released its first video game, Knighty Knight, for iOS platforms. Knighty Knight may not have made a massive impact in the somewhat crowded world of mobile video games but served as a great educational venture for The Goat, while receiving positive comments from players sighting the detailed art direction and quality script and voice acting.

Currently The Goat is developing a number of new games that will be available in early 2012 for smart phones and PC/ Mac.

Naturally, over time expect this “about” section to fill with ego inflating stories of grand triumphs, plaudits from the great and the good of the video game fraternity and vaguely interesting material over the coming months.
